About The Position

We are seeking a Pavement Maintenance Technician (PMT) to join our crew. As a PMT, you’ll work outdoors using specialized equipment to apply materials like traffic paint, crack filler, sealcoat, and more to pavement surfaces. This is hands-on work where you’ll see the results of your effort every day. We serve commercial clients throughout the Spokane metro area and North Idaho, and you’ll be part of a crew that takes pride in doing things the right way to make properties look their best. No experience is necessary—we provide full training for motivated individuals who want to grow with a strong team. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with clean record (Driver’s Abstract required)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Punctual, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker who enjoys problem-solving
  • Physically able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs
  • Able to work independently without supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Experience towing equipment trailers is an asset (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience with small engines (e.g., lawnmowers, generators) is an asset
  • Past experience playing team sports is a plus
  • Engineering or technical education or training is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Operate high-quality equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling, and sealcoating
  • Tow and transport equipment trailers (e.g., asphalt, sealcoat, enclosed trailers) safely to and from job sites
  • Assist with other pavement services as needed
  • Plan and execute projects with attention to detail and quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free job site
  • Clean and maintain equipment regularly; report issues or needed repairs to the Operations Manager
  • Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager
  • Work as part of a close-knit, high-performing crew
