About The Position

We are hiring multiple Patron Services Associates to help create a welcoming and seamless experience for visitors and Patrons at Jacob's Pillow during the summer season. As a front-facing team member, you will play a vital role in engaging with patrons, assisting with ticketing and seating, and providing information about performances and events to enhance their overall experience. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in theatre management, audience engagement, and event operations while being immersed in a dynamic performing arts environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in theater ushering, customer service, retail, or box office settings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A passion for the arts and commitment to the mission of Jacob's Pillow.
  • Active commitment to continuous learning as well as Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility.
  • Ability to work proactively, kindly, creatively, flexibly, and collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and ticketing software is preferred.
  • Drivers License preferred.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service to patrons, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
  • Assist visitors with inquiries related to performances and events.
  • Scan tickets and assist patrons to their seats.
  • Distribute programs and help maintain tidy theater spaces.
  • Occasionally transport patrons using a golf cart.
  • Working in the will call for ticket pick up.
