About The Position

The Cut Bank Police Department in Cut Bank, MT is looking to hire a full-time Patrol Officer to protect public safety and participate in community policing programs. This law enforcement position earns a competitive starting wage of $24.00 - $27.14 per hour, depending on experience and certification. Nice To Haves

POST certification is preferred but not required. For new hires who are not POST certified, the Cut Bank Police Department will pay for all academy costs as well as pay wages while working towards certification.

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas to maintain order, prevent illegal activity, enforce laws, and protect the community.
Investigate various misdemeanor and felony cases.
Mediate disputes.
Respond to other calls for service.
Participate in community policing programs.
Work closely with local businesses, schools, and charity organizations.
Serve the people of the City of Cut Bank and help build trust, reduce crime, create a safe environment, and enhance their quality of life.
