About The Position
This role involves maintaining law and order through active patrol of assigned areas, responding to calls for service and emergency situations, and conducting thorough investigations of incidents and accidents. The Deputy will also engage positively with community members to foster public trust and prepare detailed reports, maintaining accurate records of all activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a resident and registered voter of Ascension Parish
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
