As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Spokane, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying authorized access, assisting visitors, and communicating policy information in a courteous manner.
  • Support daily operations by observing passenger and staff activity, reporting maintenance and/or hazard concerns, and coordinating with local authorities and/or site representatives when appropriate.
