As the Mountain Operations Dispatch your primary task will be to coordinate incident response and command, task deployment, mountain coverage requirements, mountain tasks, snow safety, general work, and special projects. This role involves documenting all tasks using Edge Auditor Dispatch software, communicating effectively with various agencies and staff, making efficient decisions on resource management, and ensuring Emergency Response Plans and Procedures are up to date. The position also assists with updating SOPs, Safe Work Practices, and other operating protocols, and may assist with Patrol Clinic and walk-in patients. Remote advice and guidance to on-scene patrollers regarding medical procedures and protocols will be provided. Additional duties include assisting with various Mountain Operations projects, completing equipment inventories, providing resort information, inputting weather observations, and attending Patrol training. The ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple incident responses simultaneously in a calm and efficient manner is crucial. Other duties may be assigned as long as they do not disrupt primary dispatch duties.
