About The Position

The Patio Host prepares restaurant and patio areas for opening and closing and maintains cleanliness and restaurant quality standards throughout the work area. The role includes cleaning and restocking condiment stations, wiping surfaces, sweeping and mopping, and collecting, sanitizing, and redistributing food trays. The Patio Host also operates a tray-washing machine according to standard operating procedures and assists with restroom cleanliness as needed.

The position provides courteous service to internal and external guests, answers questions, offers information, and assists guests where appropriate. The Patio Host follows safety practices and company protocols, helps maintain a safe and secure environment, and professionally identifies, de-escalates, and resolves conflicts or disturbances. The role requires a welcoming and composed approach when interacting with guests and colleagues of all ages, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be available to work at least four days per week during peak seasons, including a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurants and restaurant areas for opening and closing.
• Keep condiment stands clean and stocked with items such as napkins, ketchup, and mustard.
• Wipe down chairs, tables, countertops, trays, and other surfaces; sweep and mop assigned patio areas and restaurant workstations.
• Ensure trays are stocked in the appropriate venue locations; collect, clean, sanitize, and redistribute food trays.
• Assist with restroom cleanliness as needed.
• Operate the tray-washing machine according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform cleaning duties thoroughly to maintain restaurant quality standards.
• Provide extraordinary, courteous service to internal and external guests; answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance where appropriate.
• Demonstrate proper safety practices and uphold department standards and Park safety policies.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for team members and guests, following company guidelines and protocols.
• Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively.
• Create a positive and welcoming guest experience while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintain trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
