About The Position

The Patient Transporter assists patients and their families with hospitality, logistical, and support needs to help ensure a smooth and efficient healthcare experience. The role safely transports the right patient to the right location while maintaining productivity. Duties also include distributing equipment and supplies, performing morgue duties, and managing supplies for transports. This is an entry-level individual-contributor support role involving routine work under close supervision and following standard procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• No licensure required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and frequently bend or stoop.
• Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull less than 20 pounds.
• May be exposed to chemicals, blood or body fluids, and infectious disease.
