About The Position
MONTLAKE – RADIOLOGY SUPPORT has an outstanding job opportunity for a PATIENT TRANSPORTER / Hospital Assistant position. This role involves the transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens via gurney, wheelchair, and bed to ancillary departments. Additionally, the position includes ordering and stocking of supplies and maintaining/setting up special equipment. The role also participates in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem-solving and communication.
Requirements
- Valid Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience.
- Valid American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire
Responsibilities
