About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Clay. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Responsibilities
- Accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher
- To provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient; This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
- Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
- Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
