About The Position
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team, providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to patients, visitors, and coworkers. The role is responsible for transporting patients within the hospital and performing miscellaneous functions. The Patient Transporter contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among team members and with other ancillary departments. This is a part-time, 24-hour-per-week position scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Six to twelve months of customer service or hospital experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to lift without limitations.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR/BLS certification.
