Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Safe, efficient transportation of patients throughout the hospital.
- Performs selected patient care activities as assigned.
- Makes decisions both independently and in collaboration with RNs and/or RTs.
- Enters pertinent information regarding said transfers into Meditech and/or paper based charting as directed.
- Responsible for intradepartmental stocking or gathering of materials and supplies for nursing units from central supply and blood bank as assigned.
- Has direct patient contact, access to confidential patient information, and may work collaboratively with a variety of disciplines.
