About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. If you have experience driving a van or bus (example Yveddi van, camper, or tractor trailer), and are looking for flexible part time work, this might be the position for you. As a driver, you will be responsible for various duties including van driving, some lifting, transporting our residents to and from appointments, activity outings, etc. We would prefer a driver with a CNA certification. This position will not have a set time, your schedule will vary from week to week depending on how many appointments or outings are on the calendar for the week. You must be very flexible and dependable. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to do some minimal lifting and perform physical tasks as required
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Must be very flexible and dependable
  • Must be at a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must present a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must complete a Motor Vehicle Record Questionnaire form, and Disclosure/Authorization Background Check form initially and annually

Nice To Haves

  • Experience driving a van or bus (example Yveddi van, camper, or tractor trailer)
  • CNA certification
  • Commercial driving experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Operate company van
  • Safely transport passengers or deliver goods to designated locations
  • Assist with loading and unloading residents
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger needs and inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding routes, schedules, or any issues that may arise
  • Perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
