About The Position

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for picking up and delivering geriatric, frail, and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations using regular or specially equipped vehicles. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible through clinics, home visits, and more. The role aims to help empower elders in the community to live active, independent lives.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire
  • Comply with all state laws and requirements for driving
  • Provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request
  • 5 years of Driving experience

Nice To Haves

  • ASCP Certified Phlebotomist
  • 2 years Driving experience, which includes: Driving a large passenger van or small bus
  • 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs
  • 1 year Experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs

Responsibilities

  • Picks up and delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs
