About The Position

The aide is responsible to transport patients throughout the hospital in a safe, friendly, timely, and efficient manner according to department standards and training. The aide will provide screening of people entering the hospital as assigned.

Requirements

• BLS is required and must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period.
• Good verbal expression and comprehension.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport, confidence, and trust.
• Personable and tactful.
• High regard for safety.
• Phone manners.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not necessary.
