Requirements

Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Transportation experience preferred.
Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in department.
Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

Transports patients to and from the department.
Performs clerical duties for the department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
Files patient reports.
Retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.
Darkroom duties.
Ordering supplies.
Stocking.
Dressing patients.
Front office duties.
