Patient Transport Driver - Bedford Pace Transport/Full Time Days
About The Position
This position is responsible for providing transportation services for Centra PACE/Ground Transport under the direction of the Transport Supervisor(s). Transportation will be provided to PACE participants and patients to & from Centra facilities. The Driver will be responsible for providing a safe and enriching experience for every individual from door to door. Driver will possess good communication skills. The Driver will perform pre & post vehicle safety inspections, follow scheduled transports, report & handle vehicle maintenance issues and communicate all participant/patient needs to immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- One year of working experience with the frail and elderly.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Providing transportation services for Centra PACE/Ground Transport.
- Transporting PACE participants and patients to and from Centra facilities.
- Ensuring a safe and enriching door-to-door experience for all individuals.
- Performing pre and post vehicle safety inspections.
- Following scheduled transports.
- Reporting and handling vehicle maintenance issues.
- Communicating participant/patient needs to immediate supervisor.
