About The Position

Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendant to fill an existing open position for our Kitchener Region! You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence. You can provide outstanding customer service and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent
• Valid G class driving license
• Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
• Safe driver with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
• Up to date immunization records (MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) must be valid within last 12 months)
• Successfully completed High School or can provide proof of equivalency or post-secondary diploma
