About The Position
IWS Family Health, a community health center providing preventive health care services to children and families, is looking for a bilingual Patient Support Specialist to help grow our practice as we add a third location in 2026. This position will support our team by providing a warm welcome to families onsite and coordinating patient registration. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Two years of experience in a clinical or customer service position
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Excellent customer service and communications skills

Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients
- Updating demographic and insurance information
- Assisting with Medicaid and benefit applications
- Coordinating patient appointments and follow-up care
- Supporting patient portal enrollment
- Collecting payments
- Ensuring accurate documentation and daily reconciliation of patient encounters.
