The Patient Support Assistant (PSA) in Family Medicine will be responsible for handling incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments, ensuring each interaction meets NorthShore's telephone customer service standards and practice protocols. This role involves utilizing Epic for scheduling and registering patients, obtaining prior authorizations for procedures, reviewing provider templates, and providing general administrative support under the guidance of physicians and the Practice Manager. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm, and may require travel to other sites as needed by the department.
