Patient Support Assistant - Operating Room - Evenings
About The Position
The Patient Support Assistant will facilitate all communication regarding the day-to-day activities in the Operating Room. This role involves scheduling surgeries, greeting staff, physicians, and vendors, supporting regulatory standards, compiling performance improvement data, and assisting the Perioperative team with ad hoc projects and timekeeping. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience is required.
- Proficiency in the use of computer
- Time management and organizational skills
- High level of customer service
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- One year of prior experience in office/secretarial setting, typing and filing
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology and hospital procedures
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office software
Responsibilities
