The Patient Staffing Logistics Specialist role combines two key functions: Bed Placement and Centralized Staffing. The Bed Placement Specialist is responsible for coordinating and assigning inpatient beds across the Texas Health Resources (THR) enterprise to ensure optimal patient flow and utilization of hospital resources. This involves collaboration with nursing, admissions, and clinical teams to facilitate timely and appropriate patient placements, balancing patient care needs with bed availability. The Centralized Staffing Specialist coordinates and manages staffing needs across various departments to ensure adequate staffing for optimal patient care and operational efficiency. This includes collaborating with CSO nursing and non-nursing teams, and enterprise clinical teams and leaders to fill staffing gaps and adjust schedules.
