About The Position

The Patient Sitter Resource Team Per Diem Days MMH is responsible for providing bedside presence to assure the safety of a patient who is a safety risk to self or others, disoriented, confused or a Baker Act. Alerts Nursing Staff to any patient care needs. Sitters may assist with simple patient needs such as water or help with feeding, but only under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Nice To Haves

• Vocational/Technical School/Diploma
• State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
