Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager or Business Office Supervisor, this role is responsible for being a resource for employees and completing assigned daily job duties of the business office staff such as appointments, check in/check out, patient registration, review of claim queues, etc. This position supports business office operations by coordinating patient benefits and payments, initiating proper authorizations and referrals, and correct scheduling and coding of surgical and non-surgical procedures. The Patient Services Team Leader acts as a resource for patients and staff with business office related questions/problems requiring resolution. All duties are carried out while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.
