Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years experience as a Scheduler or other related experience.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience in healthcare or related environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of a computerized scheduling system and related trouble-shooting, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years computer-related college coursework.
• Two (2) years of business administration/secretarial science.
• BA/BS in business or related field (Women First)
• BOC Certified (A Woman's Place)

Responsibilities

• Supervises Schedulers and/or Secretarial staff in assigned clinics;; coordinates office activities for assigned department.
• Acts as a liaison between Staff, Physicians and other hospital personnel, as well as physician offices and patients.
• Provides service adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
