Patient Services Specialist - Fixed Term
About The Position
Our FYidoctors Guelph clinic is looking for someone to join as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration. This is a full-time, fixed-term role until December 4th, 2026, working 30-40 hours per week. The clinic is open Monday to Saturday. Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
- Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
- Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
- Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
- Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
- Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required
