About The Position
UW Medical Center - Montlake/ Kidney Care & Transplantation Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. This role is crucial for providing an efficient system of internal and external communications, scheduling appointments, and obtaining patient information. The Patient Services Specialist will partner with the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and deliver exceptional care. The Kidney Care & Transplantation Services department treats patients with all forms of kidney disease, offering state-of-the-art care and access to research studies. They specialize in living-donor kidney transplantation and provide care for various kidney-related conditions.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
- Other duties as requested
