About The Position
UW Medicine Radiology Eastside Imaging Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Part-time Days Patient Services Specialist 2. This role involves providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging. The specialist will also be responsible for scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments, obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information, and partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery. Other duties may be requested as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
