About The Position

Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Patient Services Representative to join their team at the Carson City ROC Clinic. This role involves greeting and checking in patients, serving as the first and last point of contact. The position is crucial for facilitating a positive patient experience, ensuring accurate information is provided to the clinical team, and managing correct billing. Requirements

High School Diploma
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Experience using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing

Nice To Haves

One year of experience performing reception duties.

Responsibilities

Greet and check-in patients.
Schedule follow-up appointments.
Accurately enter patient demographic information into electronic medical records.
Scan photo IDs and insurance cards and verify insurances.
Collect applicable co-pays and ensure billing information is updated.
Balance money drawers at the end of the day.
Maintain calm and efficient patient flow through the clinics.
Check-out patients.
