Patient Services Representative (PSR)

About The Position

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) works as part of a team with other PSRs and Clinic Supervisors to ensure smooth patient flow within the practice on a day-to-day basis. This includes customer service, making appointments, checking patients in and out, answering phones and directing inquiries, and assisting the clinical team with charting tasks.

Requirements

  • Has a degree or certification in office studies, business administration, or related field. Relevant experience in the field may be substituted for degree requirement at the discretion of supervisor.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Is skilled with computers and computer applications.
  • Gives attention to detail and possesses problem resolution skills.
  • Has a positive attitude and high energy, is a quick learner, is adaptable to change, and is resourceful and proactive when identifying and resolving problems.
