About The Position
Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Patient Services Representative to greet and check-in patients at their main location. ROC is a physician-owned organization with a fully integrated musculoskeletal health campus, offering on-site surgery, advanced imaging, therapy, urgent care, and specialty services. They have been a trusted name in musculoskeletal health in Northern Nevada for over 60 years and are committed to continuous growth and investment in facilities and technology.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Experience using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience performing reception duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients.
- Schedule follow-up appointments.
- Accurately enter patient demographic information into electronic medical records.
- Scan photo IDs and insurance cards and verify insurances.
- Collect applicable co-pays and ensure billing information is updated.
- Balance money drawers at the end of the day.
- Maintain calm and efficient patient flow through the clinics.
