The Patient Services Representative (PSR) will support both the Main Street and Harbour View locations. This role is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, ensuring a smooth checkout process, providing general administrative support, and assisting with clinical duties as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred

Responsibilities

Greet patients
Check in patients and assist with individual concerns, as they arise
Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay and deductible assignment and open balances
Performs administrative tasks and must be cross trained on medical assistant responsibilities to provide support as needed
Other tasks, as assigned
