About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager 1 to oversee food service operations at ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, DE. This role involves managing a high-volume, high-paced environment, supporting a team, and ensuring the best in patient services. The hospital has 350 inpatient beds and a host of outpatient services, serving the tri-state area. Christiana Care is recognized as a top 100 Health System in the United States, and Delaware is rated as the top state for Healthcare.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in a high-volume, high-paced environment
Experience in patient services or food service management

Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction.
Oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery.
Collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience.
Perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy.
Exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits.
Perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.
Utilize Sodexo operational standards and solutions to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of retail services.
Own and drive the operational excellence of the retail and patient services departments and communicates a clear sense of strategy and purpose.
Develop and execute operational initiatives to drive sales growth and achieve revenue forecasts.
Anticipate client needs and provide subject matter expertise.
