About The Position

Performs a variety of administrative support functions at a UNMMG Ambulatory Clinic, including scheduling appointments, receptionist duties, and verifying demographic and insurance information. Manages referrals and prior authorizations with insurance carriers, ensuring smooth patient service. Assists with patient concerns and complaints, acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other providers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirements may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
