About The Position
Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics is a leading Midwest provider of orthotic and prosthetic care. We combine advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered service to help people regain mobility, confidence and independence. Our Patient Services Coordinators are an important part of that mission. They create a welcoming patient experience while supporting the clinicians and administrative processes that keep our clinics operating effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage several responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using computers, office equipment and data-entry systems
- Dependable attendance and availability to work the complete Monday–Friday day-shift schedule
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work at both the Naperville and Joliet locations
- Authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of front-desk, administrative or patient-service experience
- Experience in a medical, dental, physical therapy, chiropractic or other outpatient setting
- Experience with patient scheduling, registration or insurance verification
- Familiarity with electronic health record or patient-management systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong experience in scheduling, administration, reception or high-volume customer service are encouraged to apply.
