About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of insurance processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and follow up to confirm attendance
  • Greet and check in patients upon arrival, verifying demographic information
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from patients and external parties
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents
  • Work closely with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and process claims accurately
