About The Position
Performs a variety of clerical and computer related activities and phlebotomy with minimal supervision. This individual interacts with patients of all ages, in hospital and outreach settings and works effectively with others to meet the needs of the patients.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Effective interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- One year of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a hospital setting, clinic or physician office laboratory
- Completion of a certified phlebotomy program or medical assistant program
- Previous computer experience
- Specimen processing knowledge
