The Patient Service Technician (PST) is responsible for driving for a significant portion of the day to perform deliveries, set-ups, service, maintenance, pick-ups, and exchange orders. This role involves coordinating tasks with branch staff and patients, prioritizing activities efficiently, and completing all orders and reconciliations within normal office hours. The PST educates patients and caregivers on equipment use, care, and safety, and reports any concerns immediately. They are also responsible for daily reconciliation of activities and assets, assuming on-call responsibilities, and processing orders accurately and timely. The role requires maintaining knowledge of company policies, products, services, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the PST performs routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs on equipment, ensures proper care of company assets, and maintains delivery vehicles. Warehouse tasks and professional interactions with employees, patients, and vendors are also key aspects of this position.
