About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Part-Time Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for their Fort Worth (Lake Worth), TX location. The hours are Monday-Thursday from 3p-7p and Friday from 8a-1p, with flexibility required as hours are subject to change. The compensation is based on the candidate's years of experience and internal equity, with a starting salary of $18 - $25 per hour. This role requires an organized, adaptable individual who can work well both independently and with others. The candidate will also be required to travel to other locations as needed. The primary focus is to provide outstanding customer service and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Key duties include processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting copays, arriving and scheduling patients, and generating billing and closing reports, among other tasks.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED is required

Responsibilities

• Greets patients
