Patient Service Specialist
About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking an organized, adaptable, and independent Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to join their team in Dallas, TX. This full-time position requires flexibility to work opening or closing shifts within clinic hours of Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 7 PM. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting copays, arriving and scheduling patients, generating billing reports, and performing other tasks as needed. The candidate will also be required to travel to other locations as needed.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED is required

- Greets patients

- Daily cash balancing and weekly banking deposits
