About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - Float for their outpatient clinics in the Austin, TX (Pflugerville) area. This PRN position involves traveling to multiple outpatient clinics including Liberty Hill, Steiner, North Austin, and Pflugerville. The hours vary Monday through Friday between 7 am and 7 pm. The role requires an organized, adaptable individual who can work well independently or with others, providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting copays, arriving and scheduling patients, generating billing reports, closing reports, and other tasks as needed. The hourly rate for this PRN position is $21.00.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED is required
