Requirements

Previous experience in a medical office, patient registration, medical reception, or healthcare customer service role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working independently as the primary front desk representative
Experience using EMR/EHR systems preferred
Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple applications
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience
Check patients in and out for appointments
Complete patient registration and verify demographic and insurance information
Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and requests
Maintain and update patient records within the EMR system
Document and process information accurately using multiple computer applications
Support physicians and clinical staff with administrative needs
Balance front desk responsibilities, patient interactions, and phone support throughout the day
Deliver exceptional customer service while managing a high-volume environment
