Patient Service Specialist - Medical Front Office
About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for their Fort Worth (Lake Worth), TX location. This is a part-time, entry-level position with hours typically Monday-Thursday from 3p-7p and Friday from 8a-1p. Flexibility with hours is required as they are subject to change. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting copays, arriving and scheduling patients, generating billing reports, and other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and able to work both independently and with others. Travel to other locations may be required.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED is required
