The Patient Service Representative (PSR) plays a vital role in the care team, supporting providers, connecting with patients, and ensuring a seamless, compassionate experience. As a key member of the ambulatory care team, the PSR provides efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or contact the clinic via phone or in person for information regarding appointments, tests, procedures, bills, charges, referrals, and other matters. The role also involves ensuring billing information is entered accurately at the time of service, following up on missing information, and upholding practice and medical group standards for accurate and timely medical records.
