We are looking for a genuine, friendly, and empathetic self-starter to join the STARS team at our Meridian Health Plaza! As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a significant part in creating a great experience for patients and their families! The Patient Service Representative will work in partnership with our physicians and clinical staff to take care of patients’ administrative needs. You will be responsible for checking in patients for appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments, and checking insurance eligibility. You will also need to be comfortable using our electronic medical record (EPIC) to update required information. Our ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, a quick learner and has a passion for providing a high-quality customer service experience to our patients. He or she will also need to utilize excellent communication skills while communicating with patients and families. The ability to provide superior customer service while utilizing independent decision-making skills will be essential in this position. This Full-Time position will have a schedule of Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5:30PM. This position will support our network of rehabilitative services clinics. The home clinic will be at Meridian Health Plaza, but this position will float out to all 16 clinics from Boise to Fruitland to support the needs of the network!
