About The Position
Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, is hiring a Patient Service Representative in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The role supports timely and effective scheduling of patients across multiple offices and imaging modalities. The representative should understand the modalities offered at the location and its operating hours. Modalities include mammography, bone density, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine. The position involves direct contact with patients and referring physicians, and requires representing the practice in a pleasant and professional manner.
Requirements
- Excellent dictation and communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing applications.
- A good understanding of ICD coding.
- Knowledge of medical insurance.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patients in a timely and effective manner for multiple offices and modalities.
- Understand the imaging modalities offered at the site and the site's hours of operation.
- Communicate directly with patients and referring physicians.
