About The Position

Drs. Grant & Conger is looking for a Dental Insurance Coordinator in Dalton, GA, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and a desire to get started in the dental field. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager. Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a dental office environment
  • Knowledge of dental insurance plans, including HMO and PPO plans, and experience with insurance verification and claims processing
  • Strong telephone and communication skills with the ability to professionally assist patients and insurance carriers
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a patient-focused approach
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced office setting

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
  • Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
  • Answering Telephones
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Maintaining Appointment Book
  • Confirming Appointments
  • Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
  • Register Patients on sign in sheet
  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Checking voicemail on a daily basis
  • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
