About The Position

Lumexa Imaging partner American Health Imaging has an entry-level Patient Service Representative role open in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are looking for a customer-service focused candidate that is looking to excel in a medical office setting! This new outpatient imaging center is scheduled to open late November 2026. Until that opening, the PSR will interview and work/train in the AHI Murrell's Inlet center: 4410 US-17 S Suite B6, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

Requirements

• 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital
• Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume
• Strong Customer Service and Computer Skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Medical Terminology Knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Authorizations and Insurance Verification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures
• Assist with Authorization and Verifications
• Checking Patients In / Out
• Answering Multiple Phone Lines
• Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
• Insurance Verification
• Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered Into System
• Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records
