About The Position

ZOLL Medical Corporation’s Cardiac Management Solutions division is seeking Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) as independent contractors to train patients in the use and care of the LifeVest® wearable cardioverter defibrillator. PSRs typically meet patients in the hospital before discharge, set up the equipment, and train patients and caregivers. They follow up as needed to support patient understanding and satisfaction. This opportunity is intended for health professionals with patient-care and teaching experience who want to supplement their income. PSRs may accept or decline assignments according to their schedules; many assignments can be arranged before or after other work or on days off. Assignments may take place during the day, in the evening, or on weekends, and require travel to patients’ homes and healthcare facilities. Compensation is described as competitive fee for service.

  • Patient-care experience must be in a paid professional environment, not as a family caregiver.
  • Patient-care experience must be documented on the resume.
