About The Position

This position is for a Patient Service Representative Lead at the Tri Lakes Primary Care clinic in Monument, Colorado. The role involves partnering with clinic leadership to assist with the oversight of the patient service team. Responsibilities include providing clerical and office support within a physician clinic, such as reception, telephone handling, medical records management, charge entry, referrals, and retrieving medical information. The role also supports the healthcare team and patients/families by facilitating communication and collaboration to meet patient needs. The position requires demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Previous work history that demonstrates basic office and computer skills, filing, telephone answering, reception, basic knowledge of computer software i.e. Microsoft Word, E-mail, Excel ,etc.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance payers.
• Attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Desire to work with patient populations.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in an outpatient clinic or physician office.

Responsibilities
